ABOUT MARK
I DON'T JUST PLAY MUSIC.
I CREATE THE ATMOSPHERE.
WHERE MEMORIES HAPPEN.
I’m Mark Beecher, an Indianapolis wedding DJ and owner of Grapevine DJs. I’ve been a full-time DJ for more than 20 years, helping couples create celebrations that feel personal, polished, and genuinely fun - celebrations where guests feel connected, comfortable, and completely immersed in the moment.
Every wedding has its own personality, energy, and rhythm. I take the time to learn what matters most to you so your celebration actually feels like your celebration — not a copy-and-paste version of someone else’s wedding.
MY APPROACH
Thoughtful music programming tailored to your guests
Smooth pacing and natural transitions throughout the evening
Tasteful, confident emceeing without constantly talking on the microphone
Working seamlessly with planners, photographers, venues, and catering teams
Creating an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable, included, and excited to celebrate

BACK STORY
My career started shortly after I got out of the Army when, through a pretty odd series of events, I landed a job DJing retro Motown nights at a local bar in Speedway. Before long, people started asking if I could DJ their weddings — and the rest is history.
Over the years, the business grew (through the grapevine) into a larger multi-DJ company, but eventually I realized what I loved most was the personal connection with couples and being fully involved in every celebration myself. Today, I focus exclusively on the weddings I personally DJ, which allows me to give every couple a highly customized experience along with a level of consistency, care, and attention that’s difficult to find with larger entertainment companies.
LIFE OUTSIDE
THE WEDDING WORLD
When I’m not at a wedding, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife Deana, experimenting in the kitchen, traveling to Jamaica whenever possible (20+ trips!) New York, Boston, New Orleans and Saugatuck Michigan, or spending time with our Goldendoodle, Henry, who keeps life anything but quiet.
I’m also a lifelong music lover, and my personal playlists can jump from Dire Straits and Talking Heads to Johnny Cash, Reggae, Zach Bryan, New Orleans Jazz, Sade, Los Lobos, Tom Petty, Diana Krall and just about everything in between.
And yes… after more than four decades of weddings, I still genuinely love what I do.

Thank you for considering me to be part of your day. If you’re looking for more than just a DJ—someone who cares deeply about the experience, the people, and the moments that matter most—I’d love to connect.
